(while this may seem useless, a study done by CNN says that playing golf even using a cart instead of walking burns 84 calories per 20 minutes, and that's for a 150 pound person. So for me, 4 hours of golf, even riding in a cart, is a lot of exercise. plus, ask kyle, I jogged a lot today to and from the cart to the ball. the study is here.

(going for a more substantial breakfast at the suggestion of a couple of you. I think I like the idea so far. My only life experience with a consistent big breakfast was in costa rica for those couple months I lived there. We had tons of meat, cheese, and fruit for breakfast (many days over 1000 calories), then rice/beans/chicken for lunch, and barely anything for dinner. during that two month period I lost something like 25-30 pounds, so there must be something to having a good hearty breakfast. the key is to resist eating much at night though, which I don't know if I can handle. there are many life factors that make this hard, and other than eating lunch at like 2:00 then going to bed at like 9:00 I don't know if I can do it, at least right now. Once I lose some more weight and my body demands less calories per day, I think I might find it easier.)

Lunch: spicy italian on wheat from subway.

After lunch, it was a ridiculous day. was given snacks and finger foods all day, impossible to track. I am guessing 3,000 calories or so. not a bad day eating-wise, just a hard day to write down everything.

from 4 pm until midnight i ate the following:
salmon
LOTS of celery
like 10-12 sausage cheese balls (bite-size)
2-3 turkey sandwiches
LOTS of grapes
possibly a choice beverage or so containing a few calories

Purpose

on this little blog fella here I am going to post everything I eat, as well as any intentional exercise I perform. Maybe more than once a day, but at least once a day. I want this to (through accountability) raise awareness in myself and others about how much we eat without realizing it, and then also to use this knowledge to mold myself into a better eater.
